You can never have too many cute False Clownfish, Nemo's cousins, plus cool coral, a scorpionfish, another sea turtle (can't have too many of them, either). Below:
These reefs have many beautiful soft corals in addition to hard corals. Below:
A patient Trumpetfish with whip coral followed by, guess what!? More cute False Clownfish! Below:
Swarming school of Coral Catfish, each about 5 inches long, below:
More beautiful soft coral, a Crown of Thorns Sea Star, soft coral, a Sea Turtle (boy they've got lots and lots of sea turtles in this region of the Philippines!),Scorpionfish, and a Stonefish I'm proud to have spotted. Stonefish and scorpionfish are prime examples why you don't touch the bottom even if it is obviously free of living coral, without careful consideration. Below:
Phillip, one of Tom Campbell's lifelong friends, hanging out, below:
Our great guide, Cian, hanging off the wall looking for cool critters for us. He's very very good. Below:
A White Eyed Moray, below:
Below: Filter feeding Mackeral of some type (maybe tbd...):
A beautiful light Gray Frogfish camouflaged on a same colored sponge, waiting for his dinner, followed by another, frowning, Scorpionfish, below:
Cian with a sea turtle followed by a 5 inch Frogfish, below:
