Atlantis Dumaguete Apo Island PR dives 847-849 June 20, 2025

Friday we went out to Apo Island for three dives. These were wide angle dives on beautiful coral reefs. Below are some photos from these dives, to see the rest, please go to: https://photos.app.goo.gl/j9PZdmn1wg3JDmLRA Beautiful reefs, below:
Giant Black Frogfish, look for his eye on his left edge. below:

Cushion Star, I think, followed by a passing Green Turtle, below:
Anemonefish followed by a Pufferfish, followed by different anemonefish, below:
Another Green Turtle, below:
Beautiful corals. I'm very pleased to see large expanses of healthy coral not yet impacted by marine heatwaves and coral bleaching from our continued reckless, ruinous, rapacious, homicidal consumption of fossil fuels.
Anemonefish with photo bombins lizardfish, more anemonefish, below:
Below: Banded Sea Krait sea snake, highly venemous, totally non aggressive:
Another Green sea turtle, below:
Below: Russ van Aardt, a profession videographer that I've been on several trips with, along with his wife, Barbara, hovering over some beautiful coral.
A look upward at our boat while on our safety stop. The boat comes over to the smb that our guide sends up. Below:
More Anemonefish, below:
Above: False Clownfish, Nemo's cousins. A great day of diving on the beautiful coral reefs of Apo Island. Tomorrow is my last two dives, critter/muck dives with my 60 mm Canon macrolens, then I board Atlantis Azores for a 17 day expedition that will include Whale Sharks and, hopefully, Thresher Sharks which I've never seen diving before.
