Wonderful Manta Ray Dive at Kurali Manta Point Post retirement dive #818 February 13, 2025
The first dive of February 13 was at a site called Kurali Point. Antoine did an excellent (as always) job of briefing us on the dive plan and what to expect, and hope for, on the dive. In this case most of the dive was to be the three dive teams with their dive masters forming a line at the right distance from a prominent coral head which is a well visited Manta Ray cleaning station. The current was small enough on this dive to allow us to simply let some air out of our BCs and peacefully kneel in the sand and wait for the Mantas to appear. It worked just as hoped! We formed up a line and kneeled in the sand and waited for the show to begin, which it soon did, below:

As the Reef Manta visits wound down, our string of divers were visited by a confident, beautiful Lionfish, below:
