Exciting boat ride encounters with a humpback and bluefin tuna and good dives near Cypress Point and at Mono-lobo 9-29-2015

Greg Hoberg and I would surprised by a humpback whale surfacing very nearby (less than 100 ft) our path as we cruised out of Monterey Bay on our way down to Carmel Bay.  The whale seemed to be napping, it quietly took a breath with no blow, bobbed beneath the waves and bobbed up again, without moving.  We left him or her in peace.  Near Point Lobos we encountered groups of Bluefin Tuna shooting into the air as they massacred anchovies.  First time we've seen bluefin tuna here.  Warm water again.

We dived south of Cypress Point for our first dive.  We had around 25 ft of visibility and bottom temperature of 57 degrees, warm for here.  We followed a long wall we found and were buzzed by sea lions on the dive.
Greg swims along a wall we followed for the first half of the dive.
Sea lions love to dive bomb you, they are very quick and very agile.

We haven't been seeing very many Sea Lemon Nudibranchs this year.  Usually there are hundreds everywhere - warm water temperature.  To see more pictures from this dive please go to:  https://plus.google.com/photos/110159573286645489662/albums/6201586389887916753?authkey=CKiBz5rsv-mTNA

Our second dive was at Mono-lobo.  We again had 25 ft of visibility and 57 degree bottom temperature.

Greg found a sheep crab up in the kelp.
