Ando Bohol, Post Retirement Dives 863-867 June 28, 2025

Five dives at Ando Hohol with Atlantis Azores at 7:00 am, 10:00 am, 2 pm, 4 pm and a night dive at 6 pm, yes, soon after sundown but it was completely dark. All my efforts to get and stay in shape, including daily 4-6 mile hikes with my two training coaches, our wonderful 3 year old litter mate dogs, Frida and Gertdy, paid off. Some of my too many photos from these dives, all macro, are below, to see still more, please go to: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Je9g8VVLNdS4pKsY6 "Put your hand in a crack and you won't get it back, from a moray..." from Grand Cayman's Barefoot Man song "It's a Moray!" to the tune of "It's Amore"
Beautiful Soft Coral polyps, below:
Below: Can you see the really cool, really tiny crab sheltering in the soft coral polyps just beyond the tip of Cian's pointer? I couldn't either! All too often, Cian shakes his head and puts his hand on his head as I fail miserably to see and capture the cool critter he's trying to point out to me.
Anemone Shrimp, maybe 1/4 inch long. Below:
Beautiful nudibranch, about 3 inches long. Followed by another. Below:
Pufferfish in a sponge, below:
Above: Another Comet! Below: One inch transparent Goby on coral.
I finally got good photos of the constantly rapidly dancing juvenile Harlequin Sweetlips, below:
My first Pegasus Fish, aka Seamoth, about 2 inches long, below:
Above: Tiny, about 1/2 inch , translucent gobies on whip coral . Goby with Bulldozer Shrimp partner, below:
