Snorkeling with Crystal River Manatees April 20, 2019

During our trip up to Rainbow Springs for a day of canoeing a week and a half ago, we stopped at a dive shop in Crystal River to get Donna some new, light, fins for our upcoming travel to Tonga this coming August.

Chatting with the folks we found out that we could still go snorkeling with Manatees though winter, which drive manatees into the springs for warmth, was past.

So we went snorkeling with manatees on April 20th.  It was a chilly, very windy day because a cold front had just come through.  So we had a chilly outing on Crystal River and where we found manatees to snorkel with, sheltered from the howling wind, was far from ideal for visibility.  But we still had fun, here's some photos, more at: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Gr5a4fak99BsLhUT6
