Sutil Island, Santa Barbara Island November 5, 2018

Last week I was on a six day diving trip on the Vision, organized and led by Richard Salas, in the Virgin Islands.  Our first dive site was next to Sutil Island, a small, 13 acre, island, sometimes referred to as a pseudo island, formerly called Gull Island,  adjacent to Santa Barbara Island.  I made two dives at this site, below are some select photos from these dives, for more, please go to: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7JdkH49EemQRQ9UM6

My opening photo with a beautiful gorgonia and a Garibaldi, of course.

A couple shots of a juvenile California Sheepshead.

I was entertained by a curious male California Sheepshead.

California Sheepshead, Kelp holdfast, and a yellow mollusk "what'sit"

Back to Vision and a safety stop.

While hanging in the Giant Kelp for my safety stop I spotted this Giant Kelpfish, see it?
Giant Kelpfish are really cool looking fish.

Our second dive site was "The Arch" off Santa Barbara Island, again, I made two dives on this site.  Below are some pictures from these dives, you can see more at:

We had beautiful clear blue water for our dive at the Arch and for many of our other dives.

Approaching the very impressive Arch, a huge submarine rock structure.
